For The West To Revive, Christians Must Toughen Up

The West is collapsing under the weight of authoritarian governments. These “representatives” are rapidly robbing the individual citizen of bodily autonomy, of freedom of movement, and of the ability to work, play and partake in society.
Under martial law, Australia and New Zealand have, in the course of the Covid pandemic, practically reverted to penal-colony status.
Working in tandem as a criminal syndicate, Canadian and American state and corporate entities have colluded to corner the individual, and compel him to offer up his life-blood to the Covid spike protein.

GOP Candidate for CA Sec. of State Claims She Inspired Witch’s Murder

In her bid to be California’s Secretary of State, Republican candidate Rachel Hamm has the backing of some of the leading lights in the Trump movement. She has the endorsement of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Steve Bannon called her part of a “rising generation of superstars.”
But Hamm’s new allies often fail to mention her role battling in what she imagines as a ceaseless war with Satanists and witches.
Hamm has claimed that devil-worshippers sacrificed animals and performed other occult rituals in front of her house.

Jonathan Morris: A Catholic saint is canceled in Los Angeles and the Catholic Church is quiet

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has made it official: he’s going to scrub the name and image of a Catholic saint from a city park that bears the saint’s name. Remarkably, barely a whimper can be heard from the Catholic Church in response to this aggression, despite the fact that Pope Francis himself proclaimed Junipero Serra a saint just a few years ago.
In 2015 Pope Francis canonized Fr. Junipero Serra, the 18th century missionary to California.  By declaring him a saint, the pontiff solemnly proclaimed that Fr.

Fox News host has COVID-19, tells America to ‘get vaccinated, for yourself and everyone around you’

Fox News’ Neil Cavuto announced that he has tested positive for a break-through case of COVID-19. Cavuto released a statement saying that as he has a series of underlying conditions, including multiple sclerosis, the fact that he was vaccinated probably saved his life. “While I’m somewhat stunned by this news, doctors tell me I’m lucky, as well. Had I not been vaccinated, and with all my medical issues, this would be a far more dire situation. It’s not, because I did [get vaccinated], and I’m surviving this because I did.

‘Trump World’ is no joke — and it wants to devour American democracy

(Official White House Photo by D. Myles Cullen)

“Trump World” is not a joke, if it ever really was. That’s no longer the term exclusively applied to Donald Trump’s orbit by media observers or political opponents. It’s now how Trump World describes itself.
When longtime Trump loyalist Corey Lewandowski lost his job leading the pro-Trump super PAC Make America Great Again Action, after facing accusations of sexual misconduct, Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich tweeted that Lewandowski “will no longer be associated with Trump World.

Music, movies, laughter: How one minister seeks to make God accessible

Ministering to those on the margins of the church – or society – is not as complicated as we sometimes make it seem. While statistics rage, proclaiming that youth and people of color are making a mass exodus from the church, I believe Americans are engaging God in beautiful and radical ways.
I see evidence of that faith in the acceptance of music with religious themes on secular radio. I hear it in the prayers before street ballgames and the deep theological conversations in barbershops.

Why We Wrote This

Statistics show a decline in church membership in the Black community.

When Tom Petty Was at the Height of His Musical Powers

In the waning days of summer 2016, I received a call from Tom Petty’s office. They were in the early stages of planning an expanded edition of Wildflowers, his 1994 multi-platinum album—a career high point, even for an artist of Petty’s pedigree—and wanted to know if I would be willing to fly to Malibu to interview the legend about the period. The album hadn’t come together, but there were lots of amazing archival photos and even unseen footage from the recording sessions. A documentary about the making of the album was definitely in the cards.

Religion scholar explains how a specific strain of Christianity became a toxic political force

GDANSK, POLAND – APRIL 10, 2009: Anonymous actors play Mystery of the Passion of Jesus Christ. April 10, 2009. Gdansk, Poland.

Since at least the 1980s, the conservative movement has increasingly been governed by faith, which can be described as a belief in things that cannot be proved by empirical means. In practice, this means that the Republican Party and the larger right-wing movement’s policies and ideology across a range of issues — the economy, the environment, science, health care, democracy and the rule of law — have little if any basis in fact.
